THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY (you will be charged $3 at their atm. I was charged $3 3 times because I had to keep starting over so keep that in mind.. pretty freaking annoying) I did the buy one get one piercing deal last week, that they have on Tuesdays, which is an awesome deal! Thank you guys for that. The piercer was cool.. however I didn’t get to even pick my jewelry lol. he put in a horseshoe shaped jewelry in my tongue web which I knew would cause problems and I told him that before I left but he said it had to be done with that and wouldn’t change it?? I’ve only even known people to put in curved barbells but whatever. Long story short I ended up needing to order a curved barbell because the horse was constantly rubbing my gums behind my lower teeth causing so much pain. I also got my Tragus done and it started hurting a few days ago… why, you ask? Because the jewelry he put in was way too shot not allowing room for swelling 🙃. Sigh

My two sisters and myself got tattoos today. We were happy they could get us all in as walk ins. John and Tito did our tattoos. We gave them ideas of what we wanted and they created beautiful tattoos! Very nice staff that made us feel very welcomed, safe, and comfortable. Good prices and an excellent atmosphere. It was very clean and professional as well. We are planning on coming back for sure. Couldn’t recommend more. Spooky cat by Tito Fairies and Bunnies by John

*******************EDIT:09/13/2023:*************************** Liss, the piercer that did such an excellent job and earned my 5 star review has relocated to Black Horizon Tattoo Studio in the South Side so if you wanna get some good stabbins like I did, check over there. I eknow I'm going to go see Liss again for my bridge and double nostrils! Best piercer in the 'burgh! TLDR: Dershaw moved to Black Horizon Tatttoo, so if you want a similar experience to mine go there instead of here and ask for Liss. *************************************************************** (original review) Went in here to get my triple helix and came back a month later for my double helix! I wanted to get all 5 piercings at an 8 gauge and Dershaw(Melissa) was the first person I've spoken to that was genuinely excited to give it a shot! The piercing was a breeze. She was so patient with the process and when it came to the actual piercing process, her accuracy and speed were essential for keeping up with the adrenaline rush for all three cartilage piercings. Pain was minimal(well as minimal as it can be) and despite my best attempts to sabotage the healing process**, through her help I now have a healed triple helix at an 8 gauge! Went back last Friday to get two more on the other side and they are already healing up real nice! Excellent work and I couldn't recommend a piercer more! She has a great energy and makes everyone that graces her chair feel safe and comfortable, checking in with how you're feeling and even put signs around and makes sure to ask peoples pronouns! If you want some excellent piercings done right(and even moreso if you have some wild and creative ideas for them!) head over to the shop and ask for Melissa! OH! She also helped me stretch my lobes and my septum! Up to a 4 in the lobes and an 8 in the septum! **I, in a sleep deprived frenzy, decided to take out all three piercings from the triple helix after one week to clean them and naturally couldn't get them back in and Dershaw helped me put them back in the next day and they ended up healing just fine. THAT SAID PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE ME, LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS AND DON'T TAKE FRESH PIERCINGS OUT!!!! That said, even if you do heck up, Dershaw is tremendously patient with nonsense and don't be afraid to see if she can fix whatever you've done(like taking them out again a week later, which I also did uwu). But yeah! Go get stabbed! :D

I'm so excited to have finally found an artist I love - Mikey! Mikey is super talented, courteous, communicative, creative, and polite. I appreciate that he responded to my appointment request quickly, he took time to design my tattoos, he check with me often for feedback, and he was on time for our appointment. Pittsburgh Tattoo Company is clean and in a convenient location. I can't wait to get more art done by Mikey!!!

I had my first tattoo done this past weekend by Mikey at Pittsburgh Tattoo Shop. I'm a little older, 41, and had always thought about getting a tattoo but had never really had anything I wanted to get tattooed on me. My mother passed in January and I decided to get her favorite flower, lilacs, tattooed on my shoulder. Mikey took my inspiration photos and designed something for me and we decided on something bigger than I originally thought I wanted since it's was first. I sat for 5 hours for a colored lilac peace in my right shoulder. I can't tell you happy I am with the shading, the color and the final product. Even from a healing standpoint when I took my bandage off I had minimal pain and bleeding. It turned out beautifully. Ihighly recommend him and my husband is going back in a few weeks to have work done on a sleeve he started a long time ago.

Pittsburgh Tattoo Company is so awesome!! I just got my very first tattoo there. Thomas Kenney is the man! He was so nice and attentive to me as a first timer. He was very sensitive to me considering that I didn’t entirely know the whole process. I can’t say enough good things about the place! Relaxed, professional, clean, and friendly. I’ll be back soon! Also, this place is cash only. They do have a ATM on site though.
